I’m Writing a New One

Have you ever felt like you had done all you could do? However, you got your second wind and did some more? A few months ago I had almost decided I had written my last fiction book, until I scrolled down my list of Word documents and found an outline of a book I had thought about a few years ago. I am now at 38,000 words in this new story. It takes place mostly in Canada where my husband and I lived for a few years. It is on the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario on the edge of Georgian Bay. Google it! Beautiful nature, yet inhabited by Canadians and U.S. citizens.

The main character is now retired and lives alone at the Bay still hoping that her husband of fifty years will find his way home. He was in Vietnam during the war and disappeared. She prays that he is still alive and will not give up hope, despite family and friends trying to convince her that he will never return. Does he return or does she give up?

I don’t have a title for the book yet, but when I do I’ll let you know!
