Pastor Ellen Freeland is a young widow with a baby. Her husband unexpectedly died in a one-car crash on their second anniversary before leaving on a get-away weekend. She carries on as best she can until she begins to get threatening messages from the person who caused the crash. The detective on the case becomes part of her support system along with family and friends.
